Driving CPC has combined several decades of security and road haulage experience with leading industry and academia input, to produce the Practitioner Awareness - Crime and Terror (PA-CT) training framework.
The road transport network connects people, boosts economic activity and provides access to key services. Road transportation networks need to be open, efficient and accessible; anything that hinders this network would have detrimental impact affecting the economic activities of a country and delaying key services. Two of the industries biggest challenges are threats from criminal gangs and terror groups.
Driving CPC has combined several decades of aggregate, cement and road haulage experience to produce the Practitioner Awareness - Aggregates and Cement (PA-AC) training framework. An estimated 127 million tons per year is transported by road, which accounts for over 90% of aggregate moved in the UK.
At this time the only legal requirement to operate aggregate and cement vehicles is an LGV licence and DQC. PA-AC is the first course in the UK designed specifically for those operating tippers, mixers and power tankers within the aggregates and cement sector.
